Diffusing essential oils can be very beneficial in our homes, work spaces and other areas where we spend a good deal of time. They are known to clean our air, effect our emotions and can even boost our immune system. Depending on the mood you are looking for can help you decide what essential oil to diffuse. I work from home and sometimes I need a pick me up so I will grab a citrus oil like Grapefruit, Lemon, Tangerine or even a mixture of several oils. Some of my favorite blends to diffuse are dōTERRA’s Citrus Bliss or Motivate.
At night I choose something more calming like dōTERRA’s Serenity. My husband loves to diffuse Cedarwood and Lavender together. He will put a couple of drops of each on the bottoms of his feet, get the diffuser going and he’s down for the count! It’s so wonderful that on those nights when it seems our minds just won’t shut off that we have a natural solution. No running to the store for us to get something to help.
Make sure that you choose quality essential oils so that you are not releasing toxins into your environment. For years people have used scented candles, aerosols and now plug-in air fresheners to make their homes smell better. The trouble with these lies in the fragrances and materials used.
